Someday we'll all be gone....

I was talking with Brittany today during our after work McDonald's run. She asked me what my favorite quote was. It took me a while, but I finally decided on a lyric in a song called "Lullaby" by the King's Singers- "Someday we'll all be gone, but lullabyes go on and on. They never die, that's how you and I will be." It's beautiful because it's so true. Music is forever. And true love never dies, even when the lovers have passed on.

She then proceeded to ask me what my favorite line that I have written was. I couldn't honestly tell her, because I didn't really know. I found a list of the best lines from original songs that I made over a year ago. Here they are:

I can't decide if these are actually good, or if I was trying too hard.

I just recently decided to edit this post. It's been over two weeks since I wrote this, but I found a quote today that's really struck me. "Love is blind; envy has its eyes wide open." I don't know who said it, but it has since become one of my favorite quotes.
